|The shopping cart is not working, what could be wrong?
|The shopping cart requires that 'cookies' are enabled. This way it can keep track of the items you add to your cart. Cookies are enabled in your browser by default, but you will need to check if they are enabled.
|Are credit card and personal details secure? We do prefer you use the paypal payment option where you can.
|Yes, when you enter your credit card details you do so over a secure connection. You will see the 'closed padlock' symbol in the bottom of the browser window. This means the transmission of the data is done using 128bit encryption so no one can see it.
|Yes, but we don't use them to store your personal details. We only use temporary cookies to keep track of the items in your shopping cart while you are shopping. You can also go and look at other sites while you are shopping with us and the 'cookie' will remember what is in your shopping cart when you come back to complete your order. Once you close your browser the 'cookie' is destroyed. We will not use the cookie for anything other than the uses mentioned here.
|What is a cookie?
A cookie is a computer file which stores information during an online session. For example you could use a cookie to store a person's name so that when they come back to the site the page can say 'Hello, Mary'. This is what is called a persistent cookie as it is not deleted after the session is ended.
